ABOUT US

My name is Mark Cornell. My wife Nicole and I live in the McCormick Woods development in Port Orchard, Washington. I worked in the technology sector for nearly 30 years, employed by well-known companies such as Hewlett Packard. I have many years of experience with a wide range of technology used in the home, and have been performing residential handyman services for most of my life.  I also build furniture and custom cabinetry when the need arises.

With the complexity of today’s homes, and the wide variety of maintenance tasks and upgrades that most are wanting done, we saw a real need in the community to provide such services.  We focus on smaller, one to two day projects, and because of that, we can usually get to new projects within a week or two.

We are a Washington State licensed contractor (lic. # CORNESS805M1).

Our Services

Home Repairs and Upgrades

We offer a wide range of home repair and upgrade services–see below for a list of examples.  This is not a complete list, so feel free to contact us if you think we can help.

Carpentry

  • Install, repair or replace new or existing baseboard, door/window trim, etc.
  • Construct small custom cabinets or built-in units
  • Construct or install off-the-shelf (pun intended) shelves
  • Replace door/jam
  • Repair damage to existing outdoor deck
  • Repair damaged exterior siding/trim

Miscellaneous

  • Install flat-screen TV on the wall, optionally hiding the wires in the wall
  • Upgrade trim/handles on existing shower/bath fixtures
  • Replace/repair door hardware (locks/deadbolts/hinges)
  • Upgrade/replace bathroom hardware (towel racks, etc.)
  • Install stair railings and grab bars for enhanced home safety
