This exterior door had two issues that my client wanted resolved. The first issue was the large pane of glass in this door, which they viewed as an easy way for someone to break into their garage. The second issue was that after only 8 years in service, the jam and moulding had water damage and rot all along the top and hinge side.
The new door is made of steel and lacking the window, providing a more secure point of entry. My client also choose to change the door from an out-swing door to an in-swing door, which placed the hinges on the inside, providing another layer of protection.
